This Yo You Christmas Tree brings back fond memories of my mom.  I remember her sitting in her favorite chair making yo-yos for a quilt.  Thankfully, you don’t need that many yo yos to make this cute Christmas tree!

  • Various green fabric
  • Foam Cone
  • Shirt Buttons or Bead Studded Pins

::How To Stitch Yo-Yo

Fold under 1/4-inch of fabric. Thread a needle with sturdy 100-percent-cotton thread and knot the end. Take small, evenly spaced running stitches near the folded edge all the way around the circle. Bigger stitches will allow the fabric to gather more.

Join me each day as I celebrate the holidays with do it yourself projects, gifts, baking and more now through Christmas.
